This week I fancied getting away from the JSON hell I’ve dug myself into with Blipfeed and opted to create a Google Chrome theme. I’ve been using Chrome since it came out over two years (?) ago and while I like their UI, I’ve never really liked the blue they chose for the window chrome. Today I can say—with some relief—that I’ve finally scratched that itch.

Dark Horizon - Chrome theme

No bright colours, fancy gradients, noisy images, or distasteful colour combinations. Nope, if you want that, you’ll have to go elsewhere. Instead, you’ll find something that closely resembles the default theme for chrome, but in a darker shade.

You can download Dark Horizon through the Chrome Web Store.

Cheers for that. I think exactly the same as you about the default theme ,but there’s been nothing that’s as simple as the one you’ve made. Awesome!

I thought there was already a dark theme for Chrome.

Getting as soon as I start Chromium!
