The Coming Year

I was thinking about the past year earlier today. It had felt so busy when I was in the middle of it, but looking back, I don’t seem to have much to show for it. I had spent more time learning things than doing them. I have mountains of notes and scribbles but nothing finished, executed or launched.

This year I’m going to change that. So, starting Saturday 8th, I’m going to embark on a series of short, 24 hour, projects that will span the rest of the year. Each Saturday of every week I’m going to conceptualise, design, develop and launch an idea and then write about it on this blog.

It might be crazy, it will probably drive me a little insane, but it will definitely be much more fun than sitting at the computer thinking “Damn, it would have been really cool if I had done that”.

I hope your year will be as fun as mine.

Excellent. Look forward to seeing the outcomes :)

  2. Wow! I love that idea. I find myself in a similar scenario to be honest. I spent nearly all of my free time last year working, yet there’s not an awful lot to show for it. I want to try and commit myself to doing / launching / showing off one ‘big’ project this year. As for your Saturdays… good luck Ralph! :)

I might say that your goals are slightly overwhelming, but if it keeps you busy!

      Appropriate quote also.
